Review of current resume or assistance in set up of new resume, based on particular job search goals, suggestion of best format and content for optimum results, recommendations for revisions to assist in better resume performance. Assistance provided in developing a minimum of two different types of resumes.
Cover letter/job search correspondence
Advice in crafting cover letters, follow up letters (messages), and acceptance correspondence. Help with writing effective content and ensuring written correspondence is in correct business writing format and style. Discussion of best delivery mode for various employment messages.
Interviewing
Consulting in how to prepare for different types and forms of interviews, discussion of stages of interviews, advice on answering standard and behavioral-based interview questions, formula for creation of proof stories, tips on interview etiquette, and strategies for follow up. Additional opportunities for practice interviews face to face or online with professional analysis of performance.
Networking
Types/opportunities to network, use of social media such as Linkedin, techniques to build a broad-based network, working the network beyond the job search.
